On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce that the APASL STC 2024 "Liver Cirrhosis: Common and Rare Complications" will be held on November 1-2, 2024, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
This conference will serve as a platform for the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge and experience in all aspects of the development and progression of liver cirrhosis of various etiologies with a wide range of complications, as well as modern methods of their correction and control. The event is expected to bring together up to 500 participants from various countries.

Registration for the APASL STC is available only for individuals. The registration fee is non-refundable. The amount of the registration fee depends on the method of registration and is carried out:

• At the APASL STC venue from 01/11/2024 to 02/11/2024
Payment by credit card cannot be confirmed by a certificate of completion and invoice for legal entities.
After payment of the registration fee an invitation letter will be sent to your e-mail address, which you need to print out in your personal cabinet created during registration.
Taking into account the limited number of participants it is desirable to register online in advance. If the places for offline participation are finalized, there is still the possibility of free onlineparticipation.

Abstract submission
- Abstracts are accepted from 10.07 to 01.10.2024 at the www.apaslstc-almaty2024.kz
- The user submitting the abstract to the submission system would be recognized as The Presenting Author.
- The Presenting Author of an accepted abstract must be registered no later than October 01, 2024 to ensure the rights for the presentation.
- Presenting Author may submit UNLIMITED number of abstracts and can also be a co-author of another abstracts. In each abstract, there might be no more than 10 authors. If co-authors are not entered into the abstract submission system, they will not be listed as authors.
- Language for submitting abstracts: English.
- For optimal structure, it is recommended that the abstract should contain the Title, Author list and the Body included Background, followed by Methods, Results, and Conclusions. The Body may also be a lecture summary (only for speakers) or a clinical case presentation.
- The title must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS without highlighting, underlining or a period at the end.
- The body should contain no more than 400 words without attachments, or 250 words when attaching one table OR one figure OR one image.
- References (maximum of 2) can be included in the text if necessary.
- The maximum file size is 20 MB.
- Each abstract can be submitted only once. The Organizing Committee of the Central Asian Gastroenterology Week will accept for consideration only original scientific material that has not previously been published. Abstracts will not be considered if they have previously been presented at the international and local congresses and conferences.
- The presenting author is responsible for the correct editing and accuracy of the abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be reproduced as written by the author. Abstracts will be rejected if they do not contain scientific data or if their writing style is inappropriate.
- Confirmation of receipt of the abstract will be sent to the submitting author's email address after submission. The submitting author will receive all correspondence regarding the status of the abstract and the type and timing of presentation via the email address provided at the time of abstract submission.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in e-abstract book (electronic).
